The seventh rollover in a row makes for a huge jackpot

Tonight’s EuroMillions lottery draw could make someone the UK’s second biggest Lottery jackpot winner to date.

If a single ticket holder were to win the £157 million jackpot they will instantly become the 504th richest person in the country, according to The Sunday Times Rich List.

The winner would overtake Gillian and Adrian Bayford from Suffolk, who won a staggering £148m in August last year.

However, they would narrowly miss out of the top spot currently held by Colin and Chris Weir from North Ayrshire, who pocketed £161m in July 2011.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “This draw is going to be massive and we urge players to get their tickets early to ensure they don’t miss out.

“A life of fast cars and dream houses awaits the lucky winner.

“As well as making massive winners, EuroMillions helps to contribute to the £35m generated for National Lottery Good Causes here in the UK every week.”

The EuroMillions lottery is held twice a week and is considered the biggest jackpot available in the whole of Europe.
