Lottery Winner Kept Winning Scratchcard in Bra for Safe Keeping

A lucky Portsmouth mother who scooped £100,000 on a National Lottery scratchcard kept the ticket in her bra for safe keeping until she could confirm the prize.

You’ll often hear women complaining about how our clothes aren’t made with pockets and when Tanya Smith popped into Tesco and bought a couple of scratchcards, nothing she wore had pockets, nor did she have a bag with her. She bought a ticket along with a friend, the £100,000 Red Scratchcard and while her friend wasn’t a winner, she won the top prize!

She could hardly believe she’d won the top prize and was hopping around with her friends in excitement. However with no bag, Tanya Smith had nowhere to keep the ticket for safe keeping so stuffed it into her bra for safe keeping.

Tanya Smith has now collected her winning cheque from the National Lottery and has a life-changing sum in the bank. Her daughter has always wanted to be a Disney princess so one of the first life changes she’ll be making is a trip to Disneyland for her and her daughter. She also plans to replace some furniture, take some driving lessons, but sensibly invest the rest for the future. While £100,000 is a lot of money, it will need investment and careful spending to make a real difference.

National Lottery scratchcards can offer some life-changing prizes, showing you don’t always have to win the main draw jackpot to scoop a big prize. Tanya Smith can hardly believe her luck, will you be next?
