Lucky Newsagent Sells Two Winning Tickets in Weeks

A newsagent in County Donegal might be the luckiest store in Ireland as they have sold a second winning lottery ticket in just a matter of weeks, this time making someone a millionaire!

James Barclay who owns the shop in Raphoe sold Saturday night’s winning ticket for the Lotto Plus 1 worth €1,000,000! The winning numbers were 8, 11, 16, 18, 20, 46 (40) and if you buy tickets in the area you should check your numbers now!

It’s great luck for the winner, but proves the shop lucky too as Mr Barclay also sold another local man a winning EuroMillions ticket worth €500,000 in February!

The newsagents is only a small business and the owner can hardly believe they have sold two winning Irish Lottery tickets in the space of a few weeks. Mr Barclay says the shop gets a lot of passing trade, especially at the weekend and so he thinks the latest winner could be anyone and isn’t necessarily someone from the town.

After the Irish Lotto representative called the shop to inform them, Mr Barclay has urged everyone who has come in to check their tickets. As the shop is just six miles from the Northern Irish border, it could even be a Northern Irish player.

Mr Barclay is happy to concede he runs a lucky shop, and we’re sure that more people will be heading in to buy tickets now!

Congratulations to both the lucky winners and if you buy tickets in Raphoe, County Donegal then we recommend you check your numbers now as you could be holding a €1,000,000 prize.
